Yasmin Alkhunaizi has been promoted to Head of the Pulmonology Department at King Saud Medical City, where she continues her mission of advancing specialized pulmonary care in Saudi Arabia.

A consultant in Pulmonology and Pulmonary Hypertension, Dr. Alkhunaizi brings extensive expertise shaped by her advanced training at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network, Canada. Her leadership focuses on building subspecialty services such as Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), Interventional Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine, while also strengthening referral pathways for PAH and CTEPH patients.

She has played a pivotal role in enhancing bronchoscopy, pulmonary function services, clinical protocols, and quality improvement initiatives at King Saud Medical City.
