Tarek El Masri Promoted to Associate Professor of Accounting at MBSC

Tarek El Masri, PhD, CPA, CIA has been promoted to Associate Professor of Accounting at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship – MBSC, marking another distinguished milestone in his academic and professional journey.

With a remarkable career spanning academia, research, and executive education, Dr. Tarek El Masri has established himself as a leading expert in accounting, corporate governance, and management accounting. At Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship – MBSC, he has served in multiple senior academic leadership roles including Vice Dean of Executive Education and Assistant Professor of Accounting, where he has played a key role in designing and delivering executive programs and advancing continuing education initiatives. Prior to MBSC, he held academic positions at Lebanese American University and contributed extensively as a researcher and teaching assistant at Concordia University, where he completed his PhD in Accounting. His professional journey also includes corporate experience in customer relationship and advisory roles, further strengthening his practical understanding of business environments.

He holds a PhD in Accounting and Business/Management from Concordia University and an MBA in Accounting from the American University of Beirut, along with CPA and CIA certifications, reflecting his strong academic and professional excellence in the field of accounting and governance.
