Richard Hinchley Appointed as Chief Risk Officer at Saudi Eksab
Richard Hinchley has been appointed Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Saudi Eksab, bringing more than three decades of global leadership experience in enterprise risk management, governance, regulatory transformation, and investment risk. His appointment reinforces Saudi Eksab’s commitment to strengthening its risk management framework while supporting sustainable growth across international investment markets.
Before joining Saudi Eksab, Hinchley served as Deputy Chief Risk Officer at BSF, where he played a key role in advancing enterprise risk governance, operational resilience, data privacy, cyber risk, and regulatory compliance. He previously served as Chief Risk Officer at SAB, leading the bank’s risk strategy and overseeing the successful integration of risk governance during the landmark SABB–Alawwal Bank merger. In addition to his executive leadership roles, he currently serves as a Board Risk Committee Member at BSF Capital and a Governance, Risk & Compliance Board Committee Member at The Arab Investment Company, further demonstrating his influence across the financial services sector.
Hinchley holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Studies from the University of Bradford. With extensive international experience spanning Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East, he continues to be recognized as a respected leader in enterprise risk, corporate governance, and strategic transformation.
