Nouf Alnumair has been appointed as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished career in health leadership, policy development, and scientific research. With a strong foundation in clinical science and global health, she has consistently contributed to shaping national strategies that integrate health into broader economic, social, and environmental decision-making frameworks in alignment with Vision 2030.
She brings over two decades of extensive experience across government, academia, and research institutions, including her leadership roles as Secretary General of the Ministerial Committee for Health in All Policies (HiAP) and Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) Strategic Leader within the Health Sector Transformation Program. Her career spans senior scientific and research positions at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, as well as academic contributions as an Adjunct Associate and Assistant Professor at Alfaisal University. She has also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of the Arts London, building a strong global academic and scientific foundation. Throughout her journey, she has played a pivotal role in advancing genomic medicine, health policy integration, and national health transformation initiatives.
She holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Bioinformatics from University of the Arts London and has completed executive leadership training at Harvard Business School.
