Deema Alquwayz Joins Confidential Government as Cybersecurity Risk Section Manager

Deema Alquwayz has stepped into a new role as Cybersecurity Risk Section Manager at a Confidential Government entity.

With a strong background in cybersecurity, enterprise risk, and ICT program management, Deema brings over 𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of progressive experience from leading organizations including HSBC Saudi Arabia and stc. In her most recent role as Resilience Risk Manager at HSBC, she was instrumental in strengthening enterprise-wide resilience and risk frameworks. Earlier at stc, she contributed significantly as a Cybersecurity (GRC) Senior Analyst and Program Analyst, driving governance, compliance, and digital capability development.

Deema holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Lakehead University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Shaqra University demonstrating her strong academic and technical foundation. Her expertise lies in bridging risk management with cybersecurity strategies, ensuring robust digital resilience for high-stakes environments. In this new chapter, she is set to enhance cyber risk governance, resilience, and compliance practices at a national scale.
