Mohammed Alaskar has built a solid and fast-evolving career in cloud computing and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on network security, infrastructure protection, and enterprise-grade cloud solutions. He currently serves as a Cloud & Security Expert at specialized by stc, where he contributes to securing and optimizing cloud environments while supporting advanced digital infrastructure initiatives. Prior to this, he spent over 2 years at THIQAH, progressing from a Cloud Network Security Trainee to a Cloud Network Security Engineer. During his tenure, he worked extensively with leading technologies including Cisco proxy solutions (SMA, WSA), F5 platforms (GTM, LTM, ASM), and Fortinet systems (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer), alongside hands-on experience with GCP and Alibaba Cloud. He played a key role in deploying VPN gateways using Palo Alto GlobalProtect, integrating RADIUS with Azure Entra ID for secure authentication, managing SSL certifications, and strengthening network defenses through firewall management, LDAP authentication, SNMP monitoring, and IPSec tunnel configurations. His early experience also involved troubleshooting network issues, configuring load balancers, and implementing WAF policies, reflecting a comprehensive technical foundation across both cloud and network security domains.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Saud University (KSU), graduating with Excellent honors (Second Class) and an outstanding GPA of 4.59 out of 5.
