Mhanna Abalkhail has been promoted to Chief Treasury Officer at alinma, marking a major leadership milestone in a banking career spanning more than two decades. His promotion reflects deep expertise in treasury management, balance sheet optimization, liquidity management, capital planning, and strategic financial leadership, positioning him to further strengthen the bank’s treasury operations and long-term financial resilience.

Prior to this promotion, Abalkhail served as Acting Chief Treasury Officer, General Manager – Head of Balance Sheet & Treasury, and Deputy General Manager – Head of Balance Sheet & Liquidity Management at alinma. Over nearly two decades with the bank, he progressed through key treasury leadership roles, including Assistant General Manager, Senior Manager, and Senior Dealer, playing an instrumental role in liquidity management, funding strategy, regulatory compliance, and treasury transformation. Earlier in his career, he held treasury and project management positions at بنك البلاد | Bank Albilad, where he helped establish the bank’s Treasury & Islamic Investment Department, and completed his cooperative training at Procter & Gamble, building a strong foundation in operational excellence and process optimization.

Abalkhail holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Manchester – Dubai and a degree in Systems Engineering (Industrial Engineering) from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals – KFUPM, combining technical expertise with executive business leadership to drive innovation and sustainable growth in the banking sector.
