Mansour Alturki Appointed as Chief of Strategy & Sustainability Officer at New Murabba
Mansour Alturki, Ph.D, P.E., MBA has been appointed as Chief of Strategy & Sustainability Officer at New Murabba, bringing with him an exceptional track record of strategic leadership, infrastructure development, and transformational planning across Saudi Arabia’s public and private sectors.
With decades of experience spanning transportation engineering, national infrastructure planning, governance, and executive leadership, Alturki has consistently contributed to high-impact initiatives aligned with the Kingdom’s long-term development vision. In his new role at New Murabba, he will lead strategic planning and sustainability initiatives for one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious giga-projects.
Prior to joining New Murabba, he served as Board Member & Advisor within a confidential government entity and previously held the position of Deputy Minister for Planning & Information at the Ministry of Transport – Saudi Arabia, where he played a critical role in shaping strategic planning and infrastructure modernization initiatives nationwide.
Earlier in his career, Alturki spent more than 8 years at Saudi aramco in several engineering and infrastructure leadership positions, contributing to transportation planning, maritime yard programs, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Recognized as part of Saudi Aramco’s “High Potential” and “Young Leadership Advisory Board” programs, he is widely regarded as a forward-thinking leader with strong expertise in strategy, sustainability, and operational transformation.
Academically, he holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (Transportation) from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA in International Business from the University of Colorado Denver. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
