Islam Mahgoub Ali has stepped into a new role as Group Director of Technology Operations at geidea.

With over a decade of leadership in financial services, Ali brings deep expertise in organizational resilience, digital transformation, and enterprise technology operations. His career journey includes impactful roles at STC Bank, where he spearheaded the launch of the Command Center, led the migration of the core banking system to Temenos T24, and directed major disaster recovery initiatives. He also played a key role at stc pay and THIQAH, driving operational excellence and enhancing system reliability across critical platforms.

Equipped with global exposure from MIT Professional Education in Digital Transformation, Ali is set to strengthen Geidea’s technology operations, modernize service delivery, and contribute to the company’s long-term growth and innovation journey.
