Duygu Korkmaz Ceviz Promoted to Head Quality Operations EU CC at Philip Morris International

Duygu Korkmaz has been promoted to Head Quality Operations EU CC at Philip Morris International.

With more than a decade of experience at Philip Morris International, Duygu has built an exceptional career across quality operations, product development, supply chain, and quality assurance. Since joining the organization in 2013, she has progressed through several strategic roles including Supply Chain Import Logistics Agent, Specifications Administrator, Supervisor Material Expertise Center, Quality Assurance – Reduced Risk Products, Supervisor Quality Planning, and most recently Manager Quality Center of Expertise. Her journey reflects deep expertise in operational excellence, quality management, and cross-functional leadership within global manufacturing and consumer product environments.

Before her corporate career, Duygu also contributed to academia as a Research Assistant at Koç University and Student Assistant at Izmir University of Economics, while gaining early industry exposure through internships at ABB and BMC. Her professional path demonstrates a strong combination of analytical thinking, operational leadership, and continuous growth.

Duygu holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering from Koç University and completed a Double Major Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Izmir University of Economics, strengthening her multidisciplinary expertise in engineering, operations, and business management.
