Basil Alshalahi Joined as Engineering Project Manager at Ministry of Culture
Basil Alshalahi (PMP)® has stepped into a new leadership chapter as Engineering Project Manager at the وزارة الثقافة Ministry of Culture, bringing with him a strong track record in project execution, cost optimization, and cultural infrastructure development. With hands-on experience managing high-value engineering and restoration projects, Alshalahi is set to play an important role in advancing the Ministry’s vision for heritage preservation, infrastructure enhancement, and strategic project delivery across the Kingdom.
Alshalahi has built his career within the وزارة الثقافة Ministry of Culture, where he progressed through multiple engineering roles including Project Engineer, Project Engineer Specialist, and Senior Specialist Project Engineer before taking on his latest position. Across these roles, he led and delivered major projects valued at over SAR 50 million, managed restoration and rehabilitation initiatives for libraries, museums, and heritage assets, and worked closely with contractors, consultants, and public-sector stakeholders to ensure quality execution and timely delivery. His experience also includes driving cross-sector coordination, improving project transparency, strengthening change management processes, and supporting cost optimization across ministry-led initiatives.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from جامعة المجمعة | Majmaah University and further strengthened his project leadership profile by earning the globally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential.
