Akram Felemban Appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority

Akram Felemban has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority, taking on a key leadership role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s conventions and exhibitions sector. With extensive experience in strategy, institutional transformation, corporate governance, and performance excellence, he brings a strong track record of translating strategic priorities into measurable organizational outcomes.

Before becoming CEO, Felemban served as Vice President of the Strategy and Transition Sector at Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority, following leadership roles in corporate performance management and institutional excellence. His career also includes positions at the Center for National Health Insurance (CNHI), NHC, and The Saudi National Bank, where he developed expertise in strategic planning, KPI management, organizational effectiveness, and governance. His contributions have focused on strengthening institutional capabilities, improving executive decision-making, and aligning organizational performance with long-term objectives.

Felemban holds an Executive MBA from King AbdulAziz University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Central Missouri. His combination of strategic leadership, performance-driven management, and transformation expertise will support SCEGA’s continued institutional development and its contribution to Saudi Arabia’s broader economic ambitions.
