Abdullah AlQahtani Appointed as Chief Data & Intelligence Officer at alinma

Abdullah AlQahtani has embarked on a significant new leadership chapter as Chief Data & Intelligence Officer at alinma, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in technology, digital transformation, data intelligence, and innovation leadership.

Throughout his distinguished career, Abdullah has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives across the banking, telecommunications, and government sectors. Prior to his current role, he served as GM of Technology and Digital Transformation within a confidential government entity and as Chief Technology Officer at STC Bank, where he played a pivotal role in advancing technology strategy, digital innovation, and enterprise modernization. His extensive journey at Alinma Bank also included senior leadership positions such as GM, Head of Digital Factory, Deputy GM and Head of Development, and Assistant GM for Integration and Information Management, where he successfully drove digital banking transformation, business intelligence capabilities, and customer-centric innovation.

Academically, Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from King Saud University and further strengthened his executive leadership expertise through the Elite Leadership Development Program at INSEAD. His unique combination of strategic vision, technology leadership, and data-driven decision-making continues to position him among the prominent leaders shaping the future of digital and intelligent enterprises in the region.
