Abdulaziz Alsanouni Appointed as Director General, Growth Enablement at Maaden

Abdulaziz Alsanouni brings over a decade of experience across business transformation, growth enablement, portfolio management, energy, and industrial development. Before joining Maaden, he served at THIQAH in several leadership roles including Business Director, Head of Industrial and Energy Sector, and Business Development Manager, where he led strategic growth initiatives, transformation programs, and business expansion projects across Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he spent nearly 𝟵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 at Saudi aramco, leading key initiatives in transformation management, operational excellence, environmental protection, circular economy, engineering support, and energy efficiency programs. Earlier in his career, he also worked with GE as a Field Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in power generation services, turbine systems, and technical operations across major energy projects in the Kingdom.

He holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals – KFUPM and also completed an Executive Management Course in Strategic Investment Management from London Business School. His strong blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and strategic business insight continues to position him among the region’s prominent transformation and growth leaders.
