Payton Harrison Appointed as Manager, Live Events at PWHL

Payton Harrison has stepped into a new chapter as Manager, Live Events at the PWHL, marking an exciting progression in her career dedicated to sports marketing, event operations, and fan experience. In her new role, she will contribute to creating innovative, engaging, and memorable live-event experiences for fans while supporting the continued growth of women’s sports.

Before joining the PWHL, Payton spent nearly three years with the Ottawa Charge, progressing from Fan Experience & In-Game Activations Associate to Game Production & Fan Experience Manager. Her earlier experience includes supporting major sports and brand activations at Wasserman, Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE), and Western University, giving her broad exposure to event production, partnership marketing, communications, and game-day operations.

Payton holds an HBA from Ivey Business School at Western University and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Specialization in Kinesiology, Sport Management from Western University. Her combination of strategic business education and hands-on sports industry experience positions her strongly to help shape the future of live sports and fan engagement.
