Faris Al-Hejji Promoted to Senior Director, Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture at alrajhi bank

Faris Al-Hejji has reached a significant leadership milestone, advancing to the role of Senior Director, Cybersecurity Strategy & Architecture at alrajhi bank in Riyadh.

His promotion reflects a strong progression within alrajhi bank, where he has advanced through key leadership positions including Head of Information Security Controls, Director IT Network & Security, Director Cybersecurity Strategy & Architecture, and now Senior Director.

With extensive experience across cybersecurity strategy, enterprise security architecture, information security, network security, risk management, security controls, and security operations, Al-Hejji brings a comprehensive understanding of building resilient and business-aligned security frameworks.

Prior to his current leadership journey at alrajhi bank, he spent more than 12 years at Riyad Bank, progressing to Senior Vice President / Head of BT Security. During this tenure, he led initiatives spanning security strategy, architecture, risk assessment, vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, compliance, and technology implementation.

In his new role, Al-Hejji will continue focusing on cybersecurity strategy, enterprise security architecture, security governance, capability assurance, and strengthening the organization’s overall security posture.
