Mary Zhang Promoted to Managing Director, Investment Banking at National Bank of Canada Capital Markets

Mary Zhang has been promoted to Managing Director, Investment Banking at National Bank of Canada Capital Markets, marking a major milestone in her career in investment banking and the mining & metals sector. In her new leadership role, she will continue advising clients on strategic transactions, capital raising, and corporate finance initiatives.

Mary has built an impressive career through progressive leadership positions at National Bank of Canada Capital Markets, serving as Director, Investment Banking and Vice President, Investment Banking before her latest promotion. Prior to joining the firm, she spent more than 6 years at Scotiabank, advancing from Analyst, Investment Banking to Associate and Associate Director, Investment Banking, developing extensive expertise in mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and strategic financial advisory.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo and has successfully passed Level II of the CFA Program, further strengthening her expertise in investment management and corporate finance.
