Amal Alshammari Appointed as Refund Auditor at Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority

Amal Alshammari has embarked on an exciting new chapter in her professional journey by joining the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) as a Refund Auditor.

With a strong background in financial auditing, accounting, and regulatory compliance, Amal brings valuable expertise in financial reporting, risk assessment, and IFRS-based assurance. Prior to joining Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, she spent 3 years at PwC Middle East, where she progressed to Assurance Associate 2, contributing to audit engagements, financial statement analysis, and delivering high-quality assurance services across diverse industries.

A graduate of King Saud University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Amal has consistently demonstrated analytical excellence, leadership, and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards. Her experience across leading organizations has equipped her with the skills to strengthen financial governance and support transparent regulatory practices.
