Ilias Sarris, CFA has been promoted to Managing Director at Accenture, marking a major milestone in his leadership journey across commodity markets, strategy, and AI-driven transformation. In his expanded role, he leads initiatives focused on helping commodity traders, utilities, energy companies, and investors unlock commercial value through market optimization, advanced analytics, trading innovation, and AI-enabled decision making.

Over the years, he has built an impressive career at Accenture, progressing through roles including Strategy Consultant, Strategy Manager, Strategy Director, and now Managing Director. Throughout his journey, he has led strategic transformation across oil, gas, LNG, power, and carbon markets with a strong focus on trading performance, portfolio optimization, commodity risk management, and the commercialization of AI-powered products and forecasting solutions. Beyond Accenture, he also contributed as a Domain Expert at Carbon13 and previously gained experience through investment and market research roles at Pacific & Orient London, EY, and Bank of Greece.
