Nawaf Takroni Appointed as IT Security Engineer at Zakat,Tax and Customs Authority

Nawaf Takroni has embarked on an exciting new chapter in his career as an IT Security Engineer at the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, marking another significant milestone in his journey within cybersecurity, network security, and enterprise infrastructure.

With a strong foundation in Computer Engineering and a portfolio of industry-recognized certifications including CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CompTIA Security+, and Fortinet NSE4, Nawaf has built extensive expertise in network security, cybersecurity operations, access management, and infrastructure protection. Prior to joining Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, he served as a Network Engineer at solutions by stc, contributing to advanced ORAN projects, cloud-based network solutions, KPI development, and automation initiatives. Earlier, at Huawei, he played a key role in managing and supporting large-scale telecommunications environments, specializing in 5G technologies, IP MPLS, network monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting critical network infrastructure.

In his new role, Nawaf will leverage his expertise in enterprise security controls, security operations, incident response, remote access security, and infrastructure protection to strengthen cybersecurity resilience and support secure digital transformation initiatives. His proven track record in network engineering, security operations, and emerging technologies positions him as a valuable contributor to safeguarding critical digital assets and enhancing organizational security frameworks.
