Ahad Almohamadi Promoted to Senior Risk Manager at SABIC
Ahad Almohamadi has been promoted to Senior Risk Manager at SABIC, marking a significant milestone in a career defined by operational excellence, asset performance optimization, and strategic risk management within the petrochemical industry.
With over 12 years of experience at SABIC, Ahad Almohamadi has demonstrated a strong progression through critical technical and leadership roles. He began his journey as a Maintenance Engineer and advanced to Rotating Equipment Engineer, where he built a solid foundation in reliability and equipment performance. He then moved into leadership as Maintenance Manager, followed by Asset Performance Manager, where he led asset strategy for the SHARQ complex, driving improvements in reliability, availability, and cost efficiency. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager Central Maintenance and Planning, overseeing enterprise-level maintenance strategies before stepping into his current role as Senior Risk Manager. Throughout his career, he has successfully led major plant turnaround projects, strengthened enterprise risk frameworks, enhanced safety compliance, and delivered measurable operational improvements across complex industrial environments.
He holds an MBA from Strathclyde Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals – KFUPM.
