Noora Al-Zaraa MSc, CIA, CFE, CISA, PMP®, CIPD is a distinguished audit professional and academic contributor with over 9+ years of experience in financial auditing, governance, and risk management across Qatar’s public sector.
In her current role as Senior Auditor at State Audit Bureau – Qatar, she leads complex audit engagements across government entities, overseeing audit planning, execution, and reporting. She provides strategic recommendations to strengthen internal controls, enhance financial governance, and mitigate risks, while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and international standards. She also mentors junior auditors and contributes to advancing audit quality and institutional excellence.
Previously, she served as an auditor at the State Audit Bureau – Qatar, where she conducted audits of government institutions, performed risk assessments, evaluated internal controls, and prepared audit reports with actionable recommendations. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Auditor Assistant at the State Audit Bureau – Qatar, supporting audit procedures, financial analysis, and report preparation, building a strong foundation in public sector auditing.
In parallel, she has been serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the Community College of Qatar, delivering lectures and tutorials across Diploma and Bachelor’s programs in Human Resource Management, Talent Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Business, and Business Law.
