Tim Coolican Appointed as Senior Managing Director & Operating Partner at Blackstone

Tim Coolican has been appointed as Senior Managing Director & Operating Partner at Blackstone, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career spanning over two decades in the global FMCG and beauty industry. In this role, he will leverage his extensive expertise in brand building, commercial strategy, P&L management, and international expansion to drive value creation and operational excellence. Prior to this, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Milk Makeup, where he successfully led the brand through a period of growth, innovation, and market expansion.

Earlier, Tim spent over 16 years at L’Oréal, holding several senior leadership roles including President of L’Oréal Paris USA, Deputy General Manager, and General Manager for Consumer Products South Asia Pacific, where he managed large-scale portfolios and led cross-functional teams across multiple global markets. His early career began at Unilever, where he developed strong foundations in brand management, key account management, and commercial strategy. Across his journey, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to scale brands, lead high-performing teams, and drive impactful business outcomes across diverse international markets.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business from Queen’s University, providing a solid academic foundation that complements his extensive leadership experience in global organizations.
