Raid AL-Abdullatif Appointed as General Manager Internal Audit at King Saud University

Raid AL-Abdullatif, MSc, CIA has been appointed as General Manager of Internal Audit at King Saud University, marking a significant step in his leadership journey within the public and higher education sector.

With over 18 years of progressive experience in internal audit, governance, and operational assurance, he brings deep expertise in strengthening control environments, enhancing compliance frameworks, and driving audit excellence across complex organizations. Prior to joining King Saud University (KSU), he served as Internal Audit Department Manager at the الهيئة العامة للمنافسة | General Authority for Competition and previously led the Operational Audit Unit at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund – SIDF, where he played a key role in advancing risk management and institutional accountability.

Raid began his professional career with KPMG and holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Bangor University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Qassim University. His appointment reflects a strong commitment to transparency, governance, and effective oversight within academic institutions.
