Amal Al Khaburi Joins as Group Chief Internal Auditor at Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG

Amal Al Khaburi has embarked on a new chapter as Group Chief Internal Auditor at Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG, bringing over two decades of expertise in audit, governance, risk, and compliance across financial services, telecom, and manufacturing sectors.

Throughout her career, Amal has built and led high-impact internal audit and GRC functions, driving transparency, integrity, and operational excellence. She has served in senior roles at Vodafone Oman, including Internal Audit Lead and Audit & Risk Committee Secretary, establishing risk-based audit strategies that supported digital transformation and enhanced compliance frameworks. Her leadership extends internationally, contributing to the IIA Global Content Advisory Group, IIA Oman Board of Directors, and ACFE Oman Chapter, shaping audit standards and advancing professional practices.

Amal holds ACCA and AAT qualifications, demonstrating her deep financial expertise and commitment to excellence. Her appointment reflects her strategic vision, dedication to strong governance, and ability to mentor the next generation of audit professionals.
