Ahmed Magdy has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at geidea.

With over 15 years of expertise in fintech and payments, Magdy has been instrumental in shaping Egypt’s digital payments and acquiring business landscape. Since co-founding Geidea’s Egypt operations in 2020, he has played a pivotal role in establishing the company as one of the leading payment acceptance providers in the country, driving strategic partnerships, banking relationships, e-commerce, and merchant solutions.

His journey also includes a decade at Fawry, where he spearheaded banking, acquiring, and digital payment innovations that transformed the financial services sector. Today, as CCO, Magdy is set to lead Geidea’s commercial strategy, foster sustainable growth, and accelerate digital transformation in the payments ecosystem.
