Sultan A. AlShamsi has stepped into a new role as MSS Operations Specialist at Cyberani by aramco digital, marking a key milestone in his growing journey within cybersecurity operations. In this role, he will further strengthen managed security services, driving advanced threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring across multiple industries.

With solid experience in SOC operations, Sultan has been actively involved in log analysis, incident triage, SIEM optimization, and threat detection use-case development. During his tenure as a Cybersecurity Analyst, he played a critical role in securing clients across sectors including government, oil & gas, finance, and logistics, while also contributing to onboarding and mentoring SOC analysts. His hands-on expertise in threat hunting and digital forensics continues to position him as a valuable asset in modern cyber defense environments.

Beyond his core role, Sultan is also a Cybersecurity Track Lead at ByTechs, where he leads workshops, mentors aspiring professionals, and contributes to community growth. He has delivered cybersecurity sessions to 150+ participants and guided dozens of individuals entering the SOC domain. Additionally, he represented his organization at LEAP 2024, sharing insights on practical security operations and defense strategies.

Sultan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University and multiple industry certifications including GCFE, eCIR, eCTHP, and eJPT, reflecting his strong technical foundation and commitment to continuous learning.
