Sabine Karam Appointed as Vice President Human Resources at ZainTECH

Sabine Karam has been appointed as Vice President Human Resources at ZainTECH, marking a major leadership milestone in her distinguished HR career.

With extensive regional and global experience, Sabine is a highly accomplished HR executive known for leading large-scale organizational transformations across the Middle East and beyond. She has successfully designed and scaled enterprise-wide HR strategies, established shared service centers, implemented advanced HR technology platforms, and driven talent frameworks that support mergers, regional expansion, and cross-cultural integration.

Prior to joining ZainTECH, Sabine served as Regional HR Director for the Middle East & South Asia at Egis, where she led HR strategy for over 7,000 employees across 10 countries, spearheading transformation programs, Oracle HR system implementation, and leadership development initiatives. She also held senior leadership roles at Stantec, GardaWorld, and Gulf Cryo, where she built high-performing HR organizations and positioned HR as a true strategic business partner.

Sabine holds an Honors degree in Psychology & Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, along with professional certification in Human Resources Management and Services from Cambridge International College Australia, equipping her with a strong academic and practical foundation in people leadership.
