Mohammed Alwuhayd has been appointed as Mission Critical Technology Operations GM at specialized by stc, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey within mission-critical and cloud technology operations.

Prior to this role, he served as Cloud Operations Director at stc, where he led large-scale cloud infrastructure and operational excellence initiatives. He also held key leadership positions including Packet Core Design Section Manager and Acting Section Manager, driving core network strategy, architectural design, and operational resilience. His earlier professional exposure includes being an Associate Fellow at Misk Foundation and an internship at IBM in North Carolina, reflecting a blend of technical depth and leadership development. From core network engineering to cloud and mission-critical environments, Mohammed has consistently demonstrated expertise in telecom infrastructure, high-availability systems, and digital transformation execution.

He completed stc’s High Potential Leadership Development Program (HiPo) at the University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Qassim University. His academic foundation combined with hands-on leadership experience positions him among the rising technology leaders shaping Saudi Arabia’s mission-critical digital ecosystem.
