Mohammed ALHareth has been promoted to Director of IT and Shared Services Governance at alrajhi bank, marking another milestone in his distinguished leadership journey in banking technology, governance, and enterprise strategy. In this role, he oversees the bank’s Shared Services and IT Governance sector, driving operational excellence, compliance alignment, and strategic transformation initiatives across critical business functions.

With more than a decade of progressive leadership experience, he previously served within alrajhi bank as Director of Shared Services Excellence and Governance and Acting Director of Shared Services Business Planning, where he led PMO operations, OPEX & CAPEX governance, workforce planning, and performance optimization frameworks. Earlier, he spent over 13 years at SAB, holding senior roles including Senior Manager IT Strategy & Process, Senior Manager IT Quality & Governance, and Senior Manager IT Operations, leading enterprise architecture initiatives, IT service management, governance frameworks, and nationwide support operations. His career foundation also includes roles at Arab National Bank and Samba Financial Group, strengthening his expertise in banking technology, operations, and infrastructure.

He completed the Executive Managers Development Programme in Banking & Finance at ANB Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals – KFUPM. His strong blend of governance leadership, strategic planning, and technology management positions him among the notable leaders shaping modern banking infrastructure and shared services excellence.
