Charbel Sarkis Promoted to Regional Director – MENA at Google

Charbel Sarkis has stepped into the role of Regional Director – MENA at Google, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished leadership journey within the global technology and digital ecosystem.

With over 14 years at Google, Sarkis has consistently delivered strategic impact across the region. Prior to this promotion, he served as Country Director for Saudi Arabia and earlier led Retail, E-Commerce, and Digital Natives across MENA, driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives and market expansion strategies. Beyond Google, he contributes to regional innovation and leadership as a Young Arab Leader at Young Arab Leaders, Board Member at MMA MENA, and former Steering Committee Member at in5 Dubai Innovation Centre. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Associate in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, where he executed major M&A and financing deals across the EMEA TMT sector.

Charbel Sarkis holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from HEC Paris, academic foundations that have shaped his strategic thinking, financial acumen, and global leadership perspective.
