Basel Anabtawi Joins as Executive Director – Media & Platforms at Dubai Holding Entertainment

Basel Anabtawi has embarked on a new chapter as Executive Director – Media & Platforms at Dubai Holding Entertainment, where he will lead the development of next-generation media ecosystems and digital platforms.

Most recently, Basel served as Head of MENA Operations at TikTok, where he built sustainable publisher partnerships, fostered creator communities, and led market-wide campaigns to drive growth and engagement across the region. Prior to that, he co-founded and led Triangle Media House (now part of Interesting Times) and Rising Giants Network (acquired by Sowt Media), scaling both into impactful regional media and content platforms. His earlier tenure at Red Bull saw him hold senior regional roles, including Regional Head of Content Programming and Regional Digital Manager for the Middle East & Africa, where he shaped content strategies, built scalable audience ecosystems, and led digital transformation across more than 10 markets.

Basel holds a degree in Marketing and Advertising from the American University of Dubai and brings a powerful blend of media leadership, platform innovation, and regional market expertise to his new role.
