Ammar Albarakati has been promoted to Senior Consultant VAPT at Cyberani by aramco digital, marking a significant step forward in his cybersecurity career. In this role, he will lead advanced vulnerability assessment and penetration testing initiatives, helping organizations strengthen their security posture against evolving cyber threats.

With over 4 years of hands-on experience, Ammar has built strong expertise in web, mobile, and network penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and purple teaming engagements. Prior to this promotion, he progressed through key roles at Cyberani by aramco digital, from VAPT Specialist to Consultant, consistently delivering high-impact security assessments and collaborating with blue teams to enhance detection capabilities. Earlier, at MEDGULF, he worked as a Cyber Security Engineer, focusing on threat detection, SIEM monitoring, WAF investigations, and incident analysis, further strengthening his technical depth in real-world security operations.

Ammar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University and is certified with globally recognized credentials including OSCP and OSWA, reflecting his advanced offensive security expertise.
