Ahmed Alghamdi,PhD, has taken on the role of Chairman of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at College of Pharmacy at King Saud University, bringing over 15 years of expertise in health economics, policy, and evidence-based healthcare decision-making.

In addition to his new role, Dr. Alghamdi serves as Associate Professor of Health Economics & Policy, Director of Graduate Programs, and a member of the Drug Pricing Committee at Saudi Food and Drug Authority, influencing national pharmaceutical pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare policy. His career spans leadership in Health Technology Assessment, cost-effectiveness analyses, and strategic advisory across cardiovascular, oncology, and autoimmune therapies.
