Afaf Merheby Promoted to Principal at Heidrick & Struggles

Afaf Merheby has been promoted to Principal at Heidrick & Struggles, taking on a strategic leadership role within the firm’s Global Industrial Practice and strengthening executive search and leadership consulting capabilities across the Middle East and North Africa.

With nearly a decade of experience in leadership consulting, Afaf has consistently delivered high-impact results in executive search, organizational strategy, and talent advisory. Prior to her promotion, she served as Engagement Manager at Heidrick & Struggles, managing complex client engagements across transportation, logistics, automobility, and industrial technology sectors. Her professional journey also includes roles as Consultant and Senior Researcher at rasd, as well as project management assignments with the United Nations’ IOM – UN Migration, highlighting her expertise in strategic problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

Afaf holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the American University of Beirut and a Master’s (MSc) in Project Management with a specialization in Emotional Intelligence from Westminster Business School graduating with merit. Her academic foundation, combined with extensive industry experience, equips her to lead transformative initiatives and drive long-term value for clients at Heidrick & Struggles.
